Introduction

Drake Oranwood (Registered name: Eric Drake Oranwood) joined the SCA from 1991-1993, then drifted away. He dove back in fully starting in 2011, after having attended a few Pennsics and other events with his wife. Really, once he wrote his first bardic song in 2004, though, it was probably inevitable. He resides in the Shire of Rusted Woodlands, but is often found playing in the Barony of Concordia of the Snows among their bardic community. In January 2014 (Twelfth Night), he became a student of Maistre Lucien de Pontivy, for a term of one year and a day.

Persona

Drake Oranwood is an English minstrel living during the Tudor era. He has spent time in Scotland, where he became enamored of tales of the Fae, as well as the Continent. He is usually seen in the company of his wife, Lady Jesca de Hunteleghe, and their son, Spencer Oranwood.
