Introduction
Donnchadh mac Eoin was introduced to the society by his wife when she took him to Pennsic 45. Since then, he has been slowly getting more involved with his local Østgarðr chapter, particularly when Calligraphy, Illumination, and Commedia are involved. He won an award for Best Documentation in the Arts & Sciences Competition at the 5th Annual East Kingdom Novice Day for his Bardic Competition Champion's Scroll.
Persona
Born in 1545, Donnchadh mac Eóin Ó hUiginn is the oldest son of an Irish nobleman from Ballynary, on the shore of Lough Arrow. He currently resides in Venice, making money as an actor, scribe, and sword for hire. His family were lesser nobles under the O'Neills and sent Donnchadh off to the University of Padua in hopes of building trade with the clan. Shortly after his return from his studies, the O'Neills were defeated at the Battle of Farsetmore and his family faced ruin. Disillusioned with his lot in life, he returned to Italy, where he studied the art of defense and acting. He has traveled Europe with many different troupes, spending time in Germany, Spain, and France.
