I am Mistress Deonna von Aachen. I became active with the SCA in 1982 in northern NJ, which was initially part of Ostgardr but in the late 80's became part of the shire of Rusted Woodlands with my husband, Macsen Felinfoel. in 1998 we moved to the Barony of Concordia of the Snows.
I am a 15th century court musician, available for playing and/or singing in all manner of performance from court appearances, to background music, playing for dancing or tournaments

Projects & Publications
Organized and made available 2 booklets of music. Each containing 25-30 period songs, both secular and sacred.
Holiday booklet first distributed in 2013 and revised for the 2019-2020 season for EK 12th night 1/4/2020
"songs to pass the time" non-seasonal music to encourage impromptu singing. last revised 06/2018 for EK 50 year.

I have organized loud band playing opportunities at Pennsic for most of the past 30 years and play or teach music and dance throughout the known world. Throughout my SCA life I have played music for countless events providing and encouraging music for dancing, tournaments, processionals, and background music whenever I can. I have performed at Pennsic with Chorulus Pennsicus (select choir) and the Pennsic recorder ensemble.

When not doing music or dance I have also done heavy weapons fighting, archery, fingerloop braiding, sewing,. I have swept, washed organized, encouraged, put up signs, taught and raised 2 boys who had their own SCA successes.
