called American Square Computers, and updated the monthly ad in BYTE Magazine, | |||
Jerry Pornelle wrote a monthly column called "Computing at Chaos Manor" | |||
about his experiments with computer networking..all of his computer had a name, and | |||

Introduction
David Bodman
Recent (15 years) import from North Carolina, via Massachusetts. Joined the SCA in 1988.
Live in Raymond with my wife Elizabeth, and have a son Benjamin, currently living in Connecticut, and playing with the Barony of Dragonship Haven.
Persona
Daoud al-Bodmani (originally David of Bodman) was the second son of a tin mine owner in Central Cornwall.
With no prospects for much advancement and a desire to see the world, he stowed away on a ship, befriended and became the assistant to the navigator, and spent the next 30 years sailing the Mediterranean Sea and traveling through some of the border countries.
