Consort's Guard

The Queen's Guard is comprised of fighters, fencers, archers, equestrians, and throwers who are not Peers of the Realm. They are chosen by the Crown Princess for their skill and courtesy to serve for the duration of Her reign. From among the chosen, the Princess chooses a captain to organize and lead them. Members of the Guard traditionally wear a purple baldric bearing the Tudor Rose, though many Queens also give each guard something personal to Her reign, as well.
