== Introduction ==

Dottore Caius Ignatius Pontianus is a member of [[La Familia Gladiatoria]], once squired to Viscount Sir Ajax Thermopylokles, who now resides within the lands of the Barony of Bergental. Caius began fighting for the East during A.S. XXVIII. Through these years, he has lived within the Kingdoms of Caid and An Tir before returning to the East. He was elevated to the Order of Chivalry as  Master of Arms in January of A.S. LV by the hand of HRM Margarita. Other awards include the Order of Tygers Combatant, Order of the Troubadors, and the Order of the Sable Bear.

== Persona ==
Caius is a Classical period Roman. Son to a Roman Legionaire and Germanic Slave, he was trained in  the Ludis of Ajax. In times of war, he would be conscripted to serve the Empire among the velites (skermishers). Within La Familia, He has served to arm and train younger gladiators. While he has trained to use all weaponry, in times of war he is most effective with a polearm.
