Bregowine is the sword-swinging, horse-loving, better-than-average-beard-having squire to Duke Sir Edward Grey. When he isn't in armor, he enjoys teaching classes at Pennsic university of the history of mounted hunting, or finding time to squeeze in some fencing between wrangling his two small children.

Brego is an active heavy fighter in the Barony of Carolingia, where he is working to increase the local militia. In the guise of his previous persona, William of Arathain, he fenced regularly in Drachenwald, in the Shire of Caer Caledon. Since then, he found his way back to the Society in the East Kingdom in 2010, and into heavy combat.
Bregowine of Horseheath joined the SCA in Drachenwald in 1999, where he spent several years as an enthusiastic fencer under the guise of one "William of Arathain." When he returned to the society in 2011, he revealed his true identity as tenth century saxon with a passion for heavy combat, history, and ponies. When he isn't busy squiring for Duke Sir [[Edward Grey of Lochleven]], Bregowine teaches classes related to mounted hunting and the anglo-saxon period. He also fences.

Introduction
