Introduction
Formerly residing in the Kingdom of Atenveldt, Bertana currently resides in the Shire of Hartshorn-Dale in the East Kingdom, and enjoys hand-sewing, tablet-weaving, embroidery, archery and occasionally ignoring her duties to go for long, solitary walks.
(Maggi Buckler is a fitness professional and outdoors enthusiast who takes months to finish any projects because it's really, really difficult to sit still.)
Persona
Bertana is a 10th(ish?) Century Anglo-Saxon lady. The daughter of a noble man of religious bent, she was educated at the abbey at Bath. She was married once, widowed young, and returned to dwell at the abbey in order to avoid a second marriage.
(Note: persona story will evolve as I do silly things like ... research. You know, what I should have done in 2000 when I picked this name and time period.)
