Introduction
Bella attended her first event in early 2016, began attending archery practices in late 2016, and began attending fencing practice in late 2017.
Persona
Early 16th century Jewish persona who emigrated from Sicily and settled in Florence. Sicily had a sizable Jewish population by then, particularly due to the forced migration from Spain and Portugal by the late 15th century, but I wanted to create a persona who found reason to leave the southern part of the peninsula and begin a life further north. Bella likely was a scribe of some type, or maybe a physician; both were professions that would permit more range of movement, and potentially encourage education in Italian universities further north. (If Bella settled in Florence, she likely would have attended the studium generale at Perugia.) These professions also could create patronage that would cause her to travel, and permit a bit more integration with larger society.
