The Order of the Artemis was given to those who have demonstrated prowess in combat archery on the field of battle, given service to the Kingdom (such as marshaling, commanding, building equipment, or teaching), and served the Queen on and off the field. An individual could receive this award once.

The order was closed with the creation of the Order of the Golden Mantle by Kenric III and Avelina III.

Titles

Recipients of the Order of Artemis are now included among the companions of the Order of the Golden Mantle, which bears a Grant of Arms if the recipient does not already have a Grant or Patent of Arms.
