Introduction

Annika Bjornsdottir lives in the Barony of Iron Bog, in the Kingdom of the East. Some call it... New Jersey. She has so far fallen in love with just about every other Boggie she has met. She feels that the people of Iron Bog are amazing, and that she is lucky to live in such a barony. Annika is a scribe, and loves creating artwork for people. While she does love getting positive reactions to her work, she really feels that it's a special thing she can do for her barony in contribution to the whole of what we do.

Annika is still new to the SCA, and has much to learn of it. Her first event was May-Be in 2015. At the very next year's May-Be event in 2016, she had done two scrolls which were awarded at that same event. After the 2017 May-Be (for which she'd done 3 scrolls, and gave a class on Scribal Arts), she feels as though she is ready to do Kingdom level scrolls as well, and to explore more aspects of the SCA.

Interests include blacksmithing, metalworking, calligraphy and illumination.

Persona

This persona is not a fully developed one. it is a portrayal of a late Viking Age Hiberno-Norse woman who may have ties to Sweden.

More Information

Mundanely, I'm an artist (Crow Studio). I've degrees in Graphic Design and Illustration. I have a special love for crows, bears, and rescuing items from the trash (so I can turn them into art). I've a backyard full of chickens, a side yard full of scrap metal, and a head full of nonsense.
