Introduction

I'm Annika! I live in Iron Bog, and have fallen in love with just about every other Boggie I've met so far. They're such amazing people, and I feel lucky to live in this barony. I'm a scribe, and I love creating artwork for people. Of course I love getting positive reactions to my work, but really I feel that it's something special that I can do for my barony (and the Kingdom) in contribution to the whole of what we do.

I'm still new to the SCA, and I have much to learn of it. My first event was May-Be in 2015. At the next year's May-Be event in 2016, I had done two scrolls which were awarded at that same event. After the 2017 May-Be (for which I'd done 3 scrolls, and gave a class on Scribal Arts), I feel I am ready to move on to Kingdom level scrolls, and explore more aspects of the SCA.

Persona

My persona is not a fully developed one. I portray a late Viking Age Hiberno-Norse woman. I may have ties to Sweden. As I grow in my SCA journey, I'll figure out more of who my persona is. Maybe. ;)

More Information

Mundanely, I'm an artist. I've degrees in Graphic Design and Illustration. I have a special love for crows, bears, and rescuing items from the trash (so I can turn them into art). I've a backyard full of chickens, a side yard full of scrap metal, and a head full of nonsense.
