Describe your persona and persona history (as much as you wish)
I come from Languedoc and my name can be loosely translated as Alissenda who is unafraid to speak up...or Alissenda the loudmouth, depending on whether you are friend or foe. I'm really quite easygoing, but quick to defend the ideals of justice and compassion. A pacifist, I try to use language as bridge, not a weapon. My family lived through the 13th century Cathar Crusade, and so I have learned well to balance my passion with pragmatism and a deep, but private spirituality.

Introduction

I am Lady Alissenda la Gailharda. As well as an award of arms, I hold the William Blackfox Award for Layout and Design of our Baronial newsletter, The Viaduct, A.S. 44 (2010)

Persona

I come from Languedoc and my name can be loosely translated as Alissenda who is unafraid to speak up...or Alissenda the loudmouth, depending on whether you are friend or foe. I'm really quite easygoing, but quick to defend the ideals of justice and compassion. A pacifist, I try to use language as bridge, not a weapon. My family lived through the 13th century Cathar Crusade, and so I have learned well to balance my passion with pragmatism and a deep, but private spirituality.
