Introduction
Adelyne de Excestre has been playing with the SCA for approximately two to three years. She discovered the SCA while simply researching the Middle Ages on the internet. Being interested, she then contacted the Chatelaine and so began her journey in the Society of Creative Anachronism.
Persona
Being most familiar with English history, I went with what I know and chose England to be my persona's birthplace. Adelyne is meant to be either twelfth or thirteenth century, from Devonshire and, more specifically, the city of Exeter (I'm fascinated by the Civil War that took place in England between Stephen of Blois and Henry I's daughter, Matilda; but I'm equally enamored of Henry III's fight with Simon de Montfort, which led to the creation of the Commons in the English Parliament). However, I love almost all aspects of history, from English to Viking to French to Japanese, along with everything in between, so Adelyne may somehow visit each of these cultures and time periods. In mundane life, I spend a lot of time researching and writing for novels, novellas, etc, with fantasy, science fiction and mystery being my favorite genres.
