Introduction

Born in the East, Æsa has been around the SCA unofficially for many years, attending her first event when she was fourteen. Many years and many travels later, she came back to the SCA while far away, becoming active in the Barony of Starkhafn in the Kingdom of Caid, delving into fencing and finer arts before the winds of fortune brought her once more to the East, this time in the Barony of Bridge

Since her return, Æsa has been active as both a fencer and scribe, and often travels with pens as well as swords. She is apprenticed to Gwylym ab Owain Tatershal (who has given her a belt, scarf, and Fishbat and is somewhat responsible for inflicting her on the East), and travels to the Kingdom of Atenveldt for guidance and Bad Ideas at least once a year around the Estrella War.

When not writing things or stabbing at them with nasty flamberge blades, Æsa has branched into Bardic arts, occasionally bringing her harps with her to events and demos. She also has an appreciation for dance, serving twice as Event Steward for the venerable Black Rose Ball.

Although she has since moved to the Shire of Coill Tuar, she maintains strong ties with all areas she has called home, providing ample opportunity for shenanigans and the occasional inter-Kingdom incident.
