Introduction

Ælfric FitzHugh. Ælfric attended SCA meetings for a hot minute while studying at Universitas Californiensis Berkeleiensis. While unable to participate, for various reasons, he did nurse a strong desire for the companionship of fellow students of embodied medieval social and material culture. Many years, degrees, joys, travels, and griefs later, Ælfric found himself in the orbit of Universitas Pennsylvaniensis. His fair damosel being on pilgrimage to fair Gallic lands, Ælfric looked and saw in the same orbit, a haven wherein would meet a company of companions, a haven names the Bailiwick of Ivyeinrust. There is more to tell, but it may be told later.

Persona

Ælfric FitzHugh is a bastard child of petty Anglo-Norman nobility. His very squishy dates are somewhere 1066-1216 or so. He was probably a supporter of Empress Matilda, though who can say.
